Research Interests

·   Earthquake source properties: Utilizing high performance computing and machine learning techniques to measure fundamental source parameters of small earthquakes, like fault orientation, slip direction, rupture dimension, stress drop, and rupture directivity

·   Fault zone mechanics and tectonic activities: Integrating seismic, geodetic, and numerical modeling tools to comprehensively understand fault zone behavior under different geological environments and its implication to tectonic activities

·   Array seismology: Applying dense seismic array monitoring technology to monitor seismic activities associated with earthquake, landslide, urban area, and ocean environment.
