    Scientific Expeditions

    · Jan. -Mar. 2010: Sail as sedimentologist on JOIDES Resolution for IODP Expedition318 in the offshore Wilkes Land, Antarctica.

    · December 2008-January 2009: participating in cruise KX08-973, on board R/V Kexueyihao, to investigate paleoceanography and paleoclimate in the Western Pacific Ocean.

    · September 2006: participating the Core Logging and Description Courses at the Kochi Core Center, Kochi University, Japan.

    · March-April 2006: Fieldwork sampling of surface sediments in rivers of middle Vietnam (between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi), to investigate the erosion/weathering and East Asian monsoon evolution in Indochina.

    · May-June 2005: participating in cruise MD147-MARCO-POLO, Leg 2 (Shanghai to Bitung), on board R/V Marion Dufresne from May 27 to June 8, 2005, to investigate paleoceanography and paleoclimate in the Western Pacific Ocean.

    ·July-August 2004: fieldwork and sampling in the Tingri area southern Tibet, to investigate the Paleocene/Eocene boundary of the Tethyan Ocean.
