同济大学2018年度中国政府海洋奖学金申请办法
Call for Application of 2018 Marine Scholarship of China
一、奖学金简介：
中国政府海洋奖学金项目于2012年启动，由国家海洋局和教育部共同出资，国家留学基金委负责招生录取和日常管理，主要用于资助太平洋和印度洋周边国家和地区及非洲发展中国家的优秀学生和青年学者，来华攻读海洋及相关专业的硕士或博士学位。首批培养院校是中国海洋大学、浙江大学、同济大学和厦门大学。
二、申请人资格：
1. 申请人须为南海、印度洋、太平洋周边以及岛屿国家以及非洲发展中国家的非中国籍公民，身体健康。
2. 申请人须申请攻读与海洋相关专业的硕士或博士学位。
3. 申请人的学历和年龄要求：
申请攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄一般不超过40周岁；申请攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄一般不超过45周岁。
三、招生专业和学习期限
我校相关涉及海洋、环境研究的专业，包括但不限于：海洋与地球科学学院、环境科学与工程学院、联合国环境规划署-同济大学环境与可持续发展学院、土木工程学院、电子信息与工程学院、法学院等。
根据不同招生专业的培养方案，硕士研究生学制为2-3年，博士研究生学制为4年。

四、奖学金期限：
硕士研究生：学制2-3学年，奖学金期限2-3学年。
博士研究生：学制4学年，奖学金期限最长不超过4年。
*申请硕士相关专业中文授课且需补习汉语者，可安排一年的汉语补习课程，奖学金期限相应增加1年。
*中国政府海洋奖学金的最长资助年限为4学年。
五、奖学金内容
受资助的留学生将享有与中国政府奖学金学生同样的待遇，免除学费和校内住宿费、提供综合医疗保险、资助相应的生活费（硕士生：3000元/月，博士生：3500元/月）。国际旅费自理。
六、申请时间：
2018年1月初至4月15日
七、申请流程：
申请人需在递交申请材料前获得同济大学拟招收导师同意，并具备申请同济大学国际学生资质。
1、网上报名：申请人登陆国家留学基金委“来华留学网上报名信息平台”（http://laihua.csc.edu.cn，同济大学招生代码：10247）提交电子报名信息，并将生成的《中国政府奖学金申请表》下载后附本人亲笔签名。
2、网上报名：申请人登陆“同济大学国际学生在线服务系统”（http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn）完成网上报名并下载打印《同济大学外国留学生入学申请表》并附本人亲笔签名。
3、其他所需材料请见附件。
4、寄送申请材料：请将申请2018年度中国政府海洋奖学金的所有材料在2018年3月15日前寄达同济大学海洋与地球科学学院联系人处。
5、寄送申请材料电子版：请将申请2018年度中国政府海洋奖学金的所有材料电子版再2018年3月15日前邮寄至xixi-shen@tongji.edu.cn邮箱。
* 申请者本人应保持电话畅通并定期查收邮箱信件和申请账户。
八、奖学金评选和结果公布时间
具备涉海相关行业工作经验、获得涉海相关领域资深教授（专家）推荐的申请者将被优先考虑。我校将组织专家综合考查申请者的教育背景、学业成绩、学术能力、科研成果、导师意见和工作经历，从申请者中择优选拔奖学金候选人报中国国家海洋局和国家留学基金委审批。
奖学金申请结果预计将于2018年7月上旬确定并在我校留学生办公室网站上公布。我校将为录取者寄发《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201表）。

The Marine Scholarship of China for the year 2017 is now open for application, and the application deadline is April 15, 2018 (with all the online procedures completed and documents sent to contact person of School of Ocean and Earth Science, Tongji University).
The Marine Scholarship of China is jointly initiated by the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) and the Ministry of Education of China (MOE) for the purpose of providing financial support to outstanding students from the coastal countries or regions around the South China Sea, the Pacific and the Indian Oceans and African developing countries to study in China for a master’s or doctoral degree in oceanography or other related specialties.
Majors
Marine affairs related majors, including but not limited to:
School of Ocean and Earth Science
School of Environmental Science and Engineering
UN Environment-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development
School of Civil Engineering
College of Electronics and Information Engineering
School of Law
According to different education scheme for different degree programs, the duration for a master degree program is 2 to 3 years, the duration for a doctoral degree program is 4 years.
Scholarship and Fees
1. The duration for a master degree program is 2 to 3 years with scholarship support of 2 to 3 years, and for a doctoral degree program 4 years with scholarship support of 4 years.
2. Scholarship owners enjoy free tuition fee and other material fees, and will be provided with free accommodation and necessary medical services. Living allowances for the students are 3,000 RMB per month for master students, and 3,500 RMB per month for doctoral students (the same standard with other Chinese Government Scholarship.)
