Research Interests

1.Geochemical cycling of isotopes, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Stable Isotopes, Biogeochemical Cycling, Chemical weathering processes, Hydro-geochemistry, Analysis of the ecological environment of the river basin, Carbon and hydrological dynamics, Organic biogeochemistry, Water quality, Metal-NOM, Degradation of Humic-like substances or Organic Pollutants in Water, Fluorescence Dissolved organic matter (FDOM), Microtremor geophysical studies, Rivers and Tectonics.

2.Quaternary Climate Change,  Coastal Sedimentology.

  

Projects

1.Research Project Titled ‘‘Chemical weathering and carbon dynamics in Tibet Zone’’ and this work was supported by the Tianjin Scientific Bureau Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (Grant No. 18JCJQJC46200) under the supervision of Prof. Li-Siling Li at the School of earth system science, Tianjin University, China. 2019-01 to 2022-12.

2.Research Project Titled ‘‘Surface process and the carbon cycle in mountain rivers’’ and this work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation Fund (NSFC) for Distinguished Young Scholars (Grant No. 41925002) under the supervision of Prof. Li-Siling Li at the School of earth system science, Tianjin University, China. 2020-01 to 2024-12. 

3.Research Project Titled ‘‘The mechanisms of key geochemical processes at interfaces on carbon and nitrogen transport of cascade reservoir’’ was funded by National key research and development projects (No. 2016YFA06 01002), National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 41403113; 42073076) under the supervision of Prof. Li Siliang Li at School of earth system science (SESS), Tianjin University, China.

4.Worked as Junior research fellow in the Ministry of earth sciences (MoES), New Delhi sponsored research project ‘‘Geological characterization of the Kashmir valley with the objective of quantifying probabilistic hazard and risk in high-risk areas of the valley using a logically integrated set of geoscientific investigations’’ under the Joint supervision of Prof. Shakeel Ahmad Ramshoo and Sr. Asst. Prof. Rakesh Chandra, Department at Earth Sciences, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. 2017-09 to 2018-08

5.Research Project Titled ‘‘Geomorphology of the Aripal basin in the North-Western Himalaya’’ under the supervision of Prof. Bikram Singh Bali, at Department of Earth Sciences, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. 2014-01 to 09-2015
